Spiritual Protection: How to Reset & Hold Space After Events

Over the weekend, we held space together at the Spirit Fair — something we've been doing now for about 7 or 8 years.

And even now, spiritual protection, it’s still a lot to walk through.

There’s a particular energy that often settles in these spaces — a kind of blanket of need, anticipation, and nervous offering. Most stallholders are sharing something deeply personal, often birthed from their own trauma or awakening.

There’s a vulnerability in that. And when the room fills, it doesn’t take long before it starts to swirl — uncertainty, energetic searching, self-doubt, spiritual ego, over-efforting, and a desire to be seen, chosen, and validated.

We don’t judge it. We understand it.
We’ve been there.

That’s exactly why we prepare before, during, and after these gatherings.

Natasha energetically grids our space the moment we arrive. From the entrance to our site space, she creates a flowing river of white light that is activated to help guide those who are a true match to us find us.

We bring in support:

Five plants, one in each corner, with a clear quartz in each, and one to use for energy release when working with clients. Lovely, embossed, soft, glowing lights, Himalayan salt lamp, mirror, oil burner, carpet, and our energetic teams. We like to create a sacred homely space; it’s subtle — but those who need it feel it. And for some, just stepping into our space is enough.

We’re also not alone.

Archangel Gabriel often supports me (Vicki) at these fairs — especially when there’s a challenge or when I need to clarify what I am and how I can be of service, which can sometimes be challenging to gauge quickly. Reading what this person is ready to hear can be tricky. Gabriel brings clarity, boundary, and calm.

Archangel Jophiel is present, too, holding a frequency of beauty, nature, health, and gentle wisdom. It’s her energy that wraps the space in a soft reflective shield — so we’re protected and so others are gently redirected when needed.

And then… there’s Maris.

Maris is a mer-being who merges with Natasha during heightened moments — especially when the field is still finding its rhythm. We felt her move in and out at the start of the day. Even though I (Vicki) was looking at Natasha, I knew I was actually seeing Maris — her presence strong, protective, and fierce.

Now, this is where we tread carefully.

Maris is not to be messed with.

If someone were to energetically challenge or attack Natasha in that state, Maris would respond. She protects fiercely. And it’s still Natasha’s body — so I take the role of “mum” quite seriously in those moments, keeping the space calm and anchored.

That’s why the reflective shield from Jophiel is so important — it helps buffer not just us from others’ projections or tentacles of “low vibe trying to read us” but also protects those people from activating a response from Maris.

This is sacred space.
It’s not for playing in.

Some passersby circled, trying to work us out — and that’s okay. We didn’t engage. We didn’t open. We let the grid, hold, reflect, and sort.

We’ve learned: not our energy, not our business.

By the end of the day, things settled. Those who sat with us received what they needed: grounding, confidence, clarity, protection, and peace.

Coming Home: Clearing & Recalibrating Our Field

Once home, the decompression begins.

One of the first things I do when we get home is gently wash the plants. It’s a simple way to make sure nothing from the fair comes into the house with them. These plants work hard — they help hold and ground the energy while we’re sitting with people, and they can pick up a lot.

A soft rinse under water helps them shake off any residue, return to themselves, and keeps the energy in our home clean and clear.

Then, we begin with the crystals.

By placing them on a towel on a table, I gently shower them — but it’s not just us doing the work.

At the heart of our home is the Queen Clear Quartz,

the matriarch of the house. She stands watch over everything. When our crystals return from the fair, they pass through her field. She checks their charge, scans for imprints, and ensures nothing disharmonious enters the home space.

If it’s not aligned, she doesn’t allow it through.

She collaborates beautifully with Natasha’s energetic framework — but the Queen likes to have her say, as all good matriarchs do. She separates what doesn’t belong and holds it in stasis if needed, preventing anything from laying down imprints in the home’s vibration.

We trust her deeply.

She also cleanses and recalibrates the rest of the crystal team as they come back in — like a cosmic grandmother gently wiping muddy shoes before they run through the house.

It’s part of our spiritual protection closing ritual. A reclaiming. A resetting. A thank you.

After our plants and crystals have been cared for, we turn our attention to ourselves.

Time in the shower to physically feel the water—its temperature, its flow—while also energetically creating a waterfall of white light that washes over the head and body, clearing away any lingering fair frequencies and resetting our energetic field.

We also wash all our clothes and anything else we used at the fair. Everything gets a clean sweep and energetic reset, so no unwanted energy lingers on us or in our home.

This cleansing spiritual protection ritual completes the cycle of release, allowing us to return fully to our own grounded, clear space.
